TECNUN has organized the second edition of the summer course about product design together with Penn State University from the USA. It was a two week course where american students worked together with TECNUN students to redesign six commercial nutcrackers. This year, several trips to manufacturing companies, like Orbea (bicyles) and CAF (trains), were scheduled. The course also included cultural activities, like wine-tasting, and sports activities (surfing)
Likewise, the students had the opportunity to know the city of San Sebastián, one of the most beautiful cities of Europe according to "The Times" (Reference: The Times, "The 20 best summer holidays for 2010", February 2010) and the excellent facilities of TECNUN, the School of Engineering of University of Navarra, considered the best private university in Spain according to the National Rankings (Referencia: El Mundo: "El Ranking de las privadas").
