Nere Gil-Negrete Laborda
Nere Gil-Negrete received her MS in Mechanical Engineering in 1996 and her PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2004, both at the University of Navarra.
She has been a researcher in the Experimental Analysis and Design Unit (Applied Mechanics Department) at CEIT, since 1999. She is a member of the Noise & Vibration and Railway Dynamics & Road Infrastructure groups. At present she is in charge of the undergraduate programme of Engineering in Industrial Technologies of Tecnun.
Her main research lines are noise and vibration isolation, involving different areas of knowledge such as: characterisation of dynamic properties of viscoelastic materials, vibration transmissibility, characterisation of the dynamic behaviour of structures, interior and exterior noise in vehicles, modelling techniques, FEM/BEM modelling, optimisation of vehicle/machine components for noise and vibration reduction, aero acoustics.
She has participated in 14 research projects, is involved in the supervision of 3 doctoral thesis and is author or co-author of 10 scientific papers in refereed journals and 12 articles in national and international conferences. She is also author or co-author of 1 international patent.
