Sergio Beltrán Calaff
Sergio Beltrán is a Research Scientist in the Environmental Engineering Unit at CEIT and Associate Professor at TECNUN, the School of Engineering at the University of Navarra. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering in 2006 and obtained his doctorate in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering in 2013, both at the University of Navarra.
His main research activity is focused on mathematical modelling, system identification and process control for Environmental Systems. The fields of application of his research focus on optimising the design, operation and control of advanced technologies for the treatment and management of water, wastewater and solid wastes in urban and industrial systems.
He has participated in research projects in close collaboration with industrial partners and public authorities at local, national and international levels. He is also active in research and is co-author of scientific publications in international journals and conferences.
