1st year core course for the degree in Electrical, Electronic and Control Engineering. Taught in Second Semester. Worth 6 credits. In this course (and its sequel Production Management II) an in-depth analysis of the manufacturing systems of an industrial company is carried out. More specifically, in this course, Production Management, several tools for the design and improvement of manufacturing systems are analyzed. Production Management II, its sequel, focuses on production planning and control. The aim of this course is to get the students acquainted with the main production improvement philosophies. The course introduces the students to a set of process management tools used to improve manufacturing processes. The course will be taught in Spanish.
